On the FOURTH day of being stuck at sea, the storm hit us! We woke up to some drama and had to act quickly! I just had to say this is an excellent production. 9:04 Cecilia sits in the chair, cut to closeup of hands on controls, cut to view of controls, cut to Christopher, cut to UAV view of the boat, all overlaid with tranquil music. .... It's all so smooth I had to watch it a few times to see that the sit and the closeup shots had two landscapes. These vids show us a piece of the world most of us will never see in person. It's all so peaceful even when the waves are choppy.

Dogs are Angels from Heaven and next to human babies, they are the most SPECIAL, PERFECT, LOVING CREATURES in ALLLL the UNIVERSES! I discovered my absolute rabid adoration of canines VERY late in life, just about 5 years ago, at age 57! Hit me HARD, changed EVERYTHING about my life, and I find myself tearing up almost daily at just the sheer bliss my Sasha provides 🙏🏽!
And next to Sasha, my 70# Puginu Shepherd, and dogs named Sosa, Tucker, and Freya, your beautiful Fin and Grim, give me cause to fall in love with THEM too, gazing in their eyes, admiring their stunning appearance....well it's a huge, wonderful TREAT.

PS My first husband was Norwegian and German, and I am getting a kick out of imagining us as a young couple, living in Svalbard! His parents shared a lot of that history before they passed away, and I literally recognize their heritage in these Videos!

Dont know if this is a silly question but have you already made a Svalbard yearly calendar? I think that might be something people would like to buy for example as a Christmas present. Photos of glaciers, the dogs playing out in the snow, nightless nightw, aurora..

I live in what is usually a very moderate climate on the midAtlantic coast of the U.S. Over the past couple of winters, after having watched your videos, when I go outside and it's cold for our area, I remind myself, "it's not as cold as Svalbard." Glad you all made it home safely.
