I love how the video went from calm and peaceful way of sake to two men beating the shit out of green dough

Just imagine being born into that family. "Dad i want to be a doctor" "No, you are going to make sake. We have been doing this for 800 years and you are not going to ruin it."

Being devoted to their own crafts no matter how big and small it is, that's what makes Japanese people distinct. That kind of attitude can preserve their history for centuries and it's very admirable.

I just respect so greatly how passionate, respectful, honoured, determined and resilient Japanese people are, with their culture. I hope the younger generations stay the same and don't drift off.

I have been to Japan and seen the Mochi being made in Nara. I'm not usually into Japanese sweats but I loved the ones I got here.

Ya'll need to stop joking and appreciate what goes into this

If your own history and culture is no longer there, respect the people that preserved theirs till today and still live for it.

Everything that Japanese touches is art ._. It's so beautiful how delicate they are with their work!

"I make this dish knowing that your life is in my hands."
When this is the kind of care a chef puts into their work, you *know* you're getting nothing but the best.

Love it, just a dude talking about making sake, his family has been doing if for centuries, he makes it feel like a deep art. 5 seconds later 2 guys beating the senseless SHIT out of a peace of green dough saying "Ando!" Repeatedly. Oh btw one dude has a sledgehammer, no big deal.
