I love Vegemite (Australia). Grew up eating it everyday on toast, bread or crispbread. There was also a time where the local chocolate company, Cadbury, made a Vegemite chocolate which was absolutely divine (like a rich salted caramel). Yet to people from overseas, Vegemite apparently has an overwhelming salty and bitter taste.

Im from Italy
And there is a sandwich called Palermitana
Its a sandwich with veal spleen and veal lung.
If you were to compare it to something, it kinda just tastes like a pork sandwich, Its very tasty!

A little tip though. As someone not accustomed to natto, try it without egg first. It makes it more sticky and more gamey.

It's good with the sauce.
