Had total thyroidectomy on 9/19/23.
Got pathology results showing I have BRAF mutation. I’ll be having RAi treatment in 2 wks.
I’m a 41 year old single mother. It’s incredibly difficult to plan for your possible death when I’m all my son has.
So here I am, trying to educate myself and live longer

First, I want to thank you so much for this excellent video with detailed information. I just (week) had my thyroid completely removed due to cancer cells with metastasis and you have answered many more questions than I received from my doctors. 8:40 I had biopsy and results came back as malignant. After my complete thyroidectomy diagnosis came back as Cancer of the Thyroid "papillary Thryoid carcinoma. capsulated. 32:50 Future progrnosis. (notes to self)
