iPod Touch 5 In 2024 Review

Today we are looking back at the iPod touch 5th generation from 2012. What can you do with it almost 12 years later? We will look at different things like the camera, software, speed and performance but also the build quality and design. One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that this ipod touch 5 still has a headphone jack. Just like the newer ipod touch 6 and 7.

I still use my daughters old Ipod every day ... as an alarm clock 🙂primarily, but also as a music player.
An older Spotify version still works, albeit somewhat slowly. I have a few playlists that have been downloaded for off line use, then after downloading, I turn off the wifi and the battery life is then good for about a week and the performance is then doable.
I did change the battery thou gh, the original one was brutally abused by my daughter with candy crush or whatever stupid game

I'm still using this for apple music streaming, same color and 64gb version, surprisingly the battery still good for daily use

I still have have mine I mostly use it for Apple Music it works fine I bought mine new on eBay and the battery is pretty good on it

Mines battery isn’t nearly as bad as the one in the video. It can last for like 6 hours just playing music.

I have one, but can't access anything on it..Only the Apple symbol comes up on the screen...anyone else knows what I can do to make this thing come on to at least get onto the app screen.

do you think it is possible to play xbox cloud gaming on safari or google directly? I'm going to give my old iPod touch 5 to my 9 year old nephews and he likes the Xbox so I wanted to know 😅

I still have the original ipot touch 1 and it is as usless as a brick.
