There can be no compassion for people who are actively seeking to exploit, manipulate, and destroy people's lives because it is a game to them.

If they have court ordered treatment, they will try to manipulate their way through it. Exploiting others is an easier way to get through life, and they don't feel bad about anything.

There is no incentive for them to change.

"Do no harm" means not telling people to have compassion for people intent on doing harm. It means creating boundaries to keep the individuals and the public safe.

You can have compassion and understanding from a safe distance, thank you. Most of these people never see anything wrong with their behavior, therefore they never want to change. They can't empathize with their own vulnerability, therefore, can't empathize with anyone else's, unless there's something in it for them that they can prop up their ego on by using, manipulating, violating, exploiting and controling their supposed "friends" in their favor. Only their twisted morals and roited out need for undeserved approval and obedience matters. You can't afford a conscience for those who have none. Can't cut any slack because they are selfishness meant to harm others, incarnate, pure and simple. They're predatory, selfserving, and watch for any opportunity to do terrible things to good people because "they just can and should be able to play dumb and get away with it, no matter how much "help" they get." They don't want human connection, they want slaves. Keep your distance, and expect nothing in return, except a knife in your back, it is inevitable. Majority are dangerous people who never stop or change, save for a few rare, r a r e cases, and even then it's an uphill climb towards recovering a shred a of humanity. My uncle is a sociopath. He has always been physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually abusive his entire life. He has never stopped, or changed, and he has only showed his "soft side" when he literally has, nothing. The moment he has an edge, a bit of of power, or is able to conduct himself again, he reverts back. I have no doubt that if his health hadn't tanked, he would still be the same, old, ugly and irrepressible monster that he came into this world as. He just. Can't. Don't risk yourself. Stay safe. Protect your energy from parasitic and immoral abusers. Heal.

I have no comment on my opinions about this other than I have learned a lot since Jan of 2023. Tons of people have no idea this even exists. Which I find absolutely nuts and not right for us normal people. My lord!

Psychopathy is not a mental health diagnosis, ASPD is. That is the difference. Someone can have psychopathic traits and not have ASPD. Someone can have ASPD without being a psychopath. But most people with ASPD are psychopaths or sociopaths

String boundaries save lives. Please grow strong boundaries. I recently came close to being exploited. I had to text the particular ASPD “friend” that I was not comfortable with him moving in w me temporarily. I am sure he would have tried to manipulate me me if I allowed a phone conversation. So so glad I did not allow him to “crash out” at my house. I don’t have sympathy for this type of person. They, or he had no concern whatsoever about my personal struggles. I also tested him by questioning him on different topics twice. The reaction he gave both times confirmed that I would be a total fool to continue a friend type of relationship. Just get away from these people.

I appreciate the fact that you mention how we need to have understanding and compassion while respecting individual rights as well as keeping society safe in this video. Not many videos look at aspd in this way, they tend to just villianize.

You're forgetting one important fact, that makes this article trash. 99.9 % of People who have ASPD or Psychopathy will NEVER admit there is anything wrong with them, let alone seek any beneficial help!
