DJI - Inspire 2/Phantom 4 Pro - Live Launch Event

On November 15th, 2016, at an exclusive event at the Warner Bros. studio lot in Burbank, California, DJI unveiled their new revolutionary Phantom 4 Pro and Inspire 2 aerial imaging platforms. With uprated sensors for even higher fidelity, FlightAutonomy for safe, intelligent flight and faster speeds with better controls than ever before, these two airframes are sure to have a meteoric impact on both market and industry.

Dear DJI Customers:

We recently announced the Inspire 2, a ready-to-fly aerial platform for high-end filmmaking and video creators. At launch, we said the Inspire 2 is expected to accelerate to 80 kmph in 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 108 kmph.

After further optimization and testing of various components of the craft, camera gimbal and propulsion system, our engineers have revised those specifications. The Inspire 2 is now expected to accelerate to 80 kmph in 5 seconds and reach a top speed of 94 kmph. These changes are necessary to ensure speed does not compromise video quality and stability.

We believe the Inspire 2 is the world’s most powerful and versatile aerial platform for professional filmmakers and content creators. However, we realize this small change in specifications may be significant to those who want to push their visions to the limit. Any customers who have pre-ordered an Inspire 2 but no longer wish to purchase one will be able to request a full refund from DJI and its authorized resellers. We will email all Inspire 2 customers to make them aware of this change and the refund process.

Heartening to see a not so perfect presentation by these real people who speak like humans. They worked hard to introduce tools that people can use and which makes sense. Hope these guys and the company continue to make, present and inspire. Because if they do, then the more than 50 percentile of the rest of us engineers who are the real innovators can dream and dare to present on stage our products to the world -- instead of those business and marketing folks who try to be slick on stage with their eloquence and sell innovations as aphrodisiacs.

the rail feature may be the most handy... being able to repeat shots to perfect camera framing. next step should be to also repeat gimbal movement. good job guys.

The inspire 2 does NOT have the side and rear collision sensor like the P4 pro that has sensor on all 5 directions ( front, rear, right, left and bottom) .The inspire 2 has only the front and top sensor.

Hope they're going to do a better job of the P4 Pro and Inspire 2 launch than the Mavic. A month after the shipping date and they still haven't shipped all the pre-orders placed in the first two days.

I never had a drone with a camera uc6 been putting my phone on trying to get auroral shots but my drone can't lift it .dji if you read this I have wanting one for so long but my parents say I can't get one because of money
