I discovered something weird about this company when trying out one of their new machines.

Impressive you can make that box in a day. Great reason for a laser. Planning my workshop layout now. Will allow room for a laser now. Routing MDF is messy and dusty, lasering seems less toxic, even allowing for smoke and bouncing laser beams.

I have a jtech 7w attachment to my CNC that I tried once. When I ordered it I thought that I would use it to cut an engrave different stuff but after screwing up on the first try an forget to zero my home/start position which resulted in that the machine went to unexpected start position and fired the laser right into my spoilboard and hit a metal screw reflecting back under my glasses I realized that if I want a laser it should be full enclosed. Haven't used it since but my eye was irritated for 2 weeks but no permanent damage as I know about.

an non-enclosed laser of this power being called "plug and play" is terrifying

Thank you for acknowledging that I am right. ❤🇸🇪

i believe i got 40w co laser for around 500eur, so going over 1k is really overkill for non-enclosed laster cutter.

No one can convince me ALL of these diode lasers dont come from the same factory lol. All the brand websites have the same template, same photo style, etc.. etc..

I'm assuming there was at least some documentation included with these machines. Where does that documentation point you for issues/questions?
Also what about any markings on the machines, do they point to a single place of contact?

Another great video. I keep looking at diode lasers, but then keep reminding my self, I have a 100w co2 laser and the only reason I would want a diode would be to etch metal. So I then end up on the other thought train of you get what you pay for and I should get the big boy fibre laser. 💰💰💰💰💰

I would love to get a laser but I have so many other things I need to get first. My parents are treating me to a trip to the UK for my birthday so even less money and time to spend on projects. Right now I am working on improving my stamina as with my muscle disorder I don't know how much I will get to see.

Another top notch video Pierre and I love the maker box

lightburn isn't a one time payment. If you want updates you have to pay again after awhile.. But you can still use your un updated version and use it forever. But it puts up a nag screen every time you start it to update. Then it says the update is pay only.

How is your air assist now? I found mine not to have any kind of filtration and the pumps got clogged within 30 days

I think you an amazing creator and very honest. I had the same question about the company and I will purchase mine through Amazon. What do you recommend? I need speed for classroom projects. I only cut 3mm and 5mm plywood. I engrave anything that can engrave. Would X30 Pro be a be good classroom laser? I can handle the ventilation.

I'm pretty impressed that it can cut through the 3mm MDF - does it struggle or take a reasonable time please? I take 3 cuts on a 40W and would like to figure out this one's strength by comparison please. Thank you for a great vid!

I would like to see you get ahold of an Ikier 36 watt. They say they are the high end of Atomstack. Both x any are linear rails and it seems very well built.
