Thx for a great video. We cannot decide between xtool co2 or 40w diode, want to engrave on beach rocks, pebbles. Tools suggest 40w diode. Your opinion please.

Can you use this to mark a pattern on a piece of wood, so you can carve it out with your dremel or by chisel? Instead of using transfer carbon paper?

I do not have a question about the 40W module. What I want to ask is about the whole system. The OLM and other seem to have system issues, where jobs stop in the middle, or images jum. Have you seen any issues with the XTool in operating? Any perfromance issues, stopping, jumpig around, etc. Actually anything. Thanks. I am looking for a laser, and everything I am reading on the diode units, and all seem ot have problems.

Hello Cornelius... I have a question that I haven't managed to find an answer to anywhere on the net.. I want to cut 12mm Buffalo Board Anti-Slip Mesh Phenolic Birch Plywood. I'd need to cut 8 by 4 sheets so would have to make a gantry type CNC for it. Would this laser diode be able to cut this board in one pass ? Do you know of anyone trying to cut this type of board ? It's often found in trailer floors etc and i'd like to be able to do bespoke floor panels... Thanks

Nice video! I ordered the 40W and 10W D1 Pro combo, as well as the IR laser head. Does this come with both rails and motherboards? Will the 10 Watt and IR laser heads heads work with the 40 Watt rail and motherboard? I hope so, as switching back and forth would be a pain. Thanks again!
