How To Do A Smith Machine Hack Squat

1. Set the Smith machine so that the bar sits at shoulder height, then step underneath the bar so it rests on your upper back.
2. Step both feet out in front of the bar, around a foot distance away.
3. Keeping your torso upright and chest high, press through your heels and bend at the knees to sink your hips down until your thighs are parallel with the floor.
4. Push through the heels to extend your legs back to the starting position.
5. Repeat for desired reps.
