you literally answered my question for everything . I’ve been in health care since 2016-2017 and now I’m 25 . & I’ve worked in hospitals & pharmacies and health insurance for authorization & etc…. Now I’ve been doing my research for hit and him . Last couple months I’ve been trying to decide if I should do the degree vs getting the multiple certifications & etc transfer over into i.t .

Thank you so much for the information! I have worked in healthcare since 2020 (surgery scheduler/front desk/call center/template editor/authorizations) and have 10+ years of experience in childcare education where I feel like I'm stuck and am unhappy at work. I think that I would be a great leader and am very excellent in tech, so I'm on the fence and am just researching what else I can do to find a job I'd be happy at. This video definitely helps me get close to figuring that out!

Thank you for the information about what the RHIT and RHIA are all about. I’m definitely not interested in a degree at this point. I’ll continue my journey towards the CCA. Excellent information as usual, Bleu😊

I unfortunately went into the RHIA degree, I didn't know what I was doing and didn't get the right guidance. I'm still in school for it and I've wasted a lot of time and money for sure. I didn't want to give up but I know I don't want to be in a leadership role, I want to be a coder. Maybe I'll be interested in that some time in the future but it isn't for me now. I'm glad I saw this video.

I needed to see this! I already have my BS in Biology. I am currently an LPN looking to transition into HIM or HIT. I don't want another degree unless I get a Masters in Health Informatics. Thank you for sharing. I think I will get my CPC and CCS first and see what happens.

Great video very useful! Love your content! I mainly want to work with medical records and giving support to the team and code if needed; The AS RHIT would be the best thing to do? I am planning to get the CCS as well. Thanks for your time and advice! 😉

Do you have study tips for the RHIA exam?

Hello! Thanks for the video great info! So I kind of wish I new more information about medical coding before I started my RHIT program. Do you think it’s worth finishing my program? Or just getting a certificate in medical coding? Also, I want to get experience in medical coding before getting my degree and I’ve seen that some people start off in billing and then get into coding. What to do you recommend? I just want to get experience and become more knowledgeable before graduating. I am currently a registered respiratory therapist and most likely will do respiratory as a contingent and do medical coding as a remote job! Thanks, hopefully you can ease my mind a bit haha!

Hello, I am currently a 4 yr Biller I just passed my CPC and searching for jobs as a coder now . I am on the fence of getting my HIT degree as I really want to get into auditing after a few years of experience in coding. Would the CPMA certification be just as good as getting the RHIT to get into auditing ?
