If budget is not a problem, the R5 is definitely the best one in this list, for both photos and video!

As far as the M-series goes. I perceive that the M50 is a great videographer or hybrid camera, for purely still use, I prefer the M5. It does not need the upgraded processor so important for video, but it does benefit from the EV dial on the top of the camera - something that I like. I would have preferred the fully articulated screen, however the flip screen does have benefits for using at waist level for street photography.

Great video. Very informative. I'm going to hang on to my 90D and it's lenses. I'm not buying into the mirrorless for a while.

Many commentators are still rating the old Canon 5DS / 5DSR as one of the best for still photography. At 51 Megapixels, you get almost medium format quality for professional photoshoots. OK the video is not good at 1980p 24 / 30 but for still shots, it is still hard to beat.

The m50 has a record limit of 29:99.
And this is not a great camera for stills I have used it for a year. It is just not that great. I would go for thr R5 if budget is not an issue. But filming is great it can use cinestyle on it.
I am looking into getting the R7 as a filming camera.
