Safety. A false feeling of it.

Be safe when needed. Feel fear if needed. But don’t have it be your default way of living.

Trust your instincts about situations and people. You’ll let go of 99% of fear. Use the other 1% for safety.

Dam you called my attachment to fear. The keeping me safe was my first thought but realizing I actually don't feel safe being in fear.

A fortress seems the safest. But isolation exposes you to more dangers than it protects you from - the art of war

I rememer back in 2011ish when they had a term for dressing flamboyant to get attention from girls: peacocking. I have seen Julien wear outfits time and time again. I have come up with a term for it: reverse peacocking.

The part of me that doesn't like to face criticism. The part of me that doesn't want to hear people constantly bringing me down in whatever I do. I quieted myself because I didn't want to get hurt again.

It's because you've failed before and you always need a boogeyman to scapegoat for why you failed. Always building the reason directly.into the failure

If I looked like him, I'd be in a constant state of fear too.

Good advice but hey please do take care of styles it’s not true when they say “Appearance doesn’t matter” I believe %60 of what matters in a person is their personality the other %40 is their appearance (their outfit, hair style and everything) yes julien please do care ❤
