Omg, that was fabulous. What a boxing era. Nothing like it today. Glad to say I saw it live.

One thing you can say, Joe was as tough as nails.

Ali at his best gives Joe (and anyone else in history) 15 rounds of this - a lesson in boxing 🥊💥
The Greatest ❤

This is my favorite Ali _ Frazier fight.

Ali fought a very smart fight in this second matchup. He moved well, threw combinations when the opportunity presented itself, and tied Frazier up when he pressured him in close. Unlike the first fight, Ali didn't allow his ego and overconfidence to supersede a solid ring strategy. Ali could have won their first meeting if he had employed this same strategy. That, and allowing himself more time to recover from a tough fight against Bonavena.

Ppl ask Ali who was his toughest fighter. He said Frazier. But in reality it's Kenny Norton.

In all honesty, Ali just used Joe’s head as a punching bag in that round.

Muhamed ali is an OG of boxing, i'm seeing that a lot of his moves are used by the best fighters today that were considered to be wrong back then

Ali held literally every time they got in close and received nothing but warnings the entire fight. Fk this ref in particular.

Joe was scary because he had a great chin. No matter what Ali did to him, Frazier just kept coming.

Many people don’t give II the respect it deserves as a great fight. It was

Ali won this Round for me clearly. What do you think ?

You know, if Frazier had had Ali's arm reach he would've defeated Ali in every match.

Love Ali but the clinch strategy was extremely excessive. In the 60's his legs and movement were so great he wouldn't have needed to tie Frazier up so much

Frazier wasn't as busy as he was the first fight...he punched constantly... especially when they clinched

The best fight footage of this fight was Jim Jacobs footage. If you haven't seen it, go see it. They used to show it all of the time on espn, as well! Abc butchered it so completely that it's like amateurs did it: watch abc's version and compare it to Jim Jacobs' version; the latter is way better; you can't even see many of the punches on abc's version(one of the fighter's back or side blocks the viewing of punches much of the time)

Ali never learned from Foreman how to finish Frazier quickly by using his arm length to keep Frazier at a distance and then using sharp powerful uppercuts. Ali always threw downward punches at Frazier.

In another vid, Joe landed 400 body shots on Ali in that brutal Manila match
