The Spiritual Dangers of Sedevacantism
a small (and growing) group of Catholics deny Francis is the pope, deciding this solves the problem of a bad pope. While that third option might be tempting, it’s incredibly dangerous to the soul.
Why is rejecting that Francis is pope so dangerous? Because at its root it is diametrically opposed to the fundamentals of Catholicism. It is essentially a Gnostic position, a belief that a few souls have discovered a special knowledge (“Gnosis” is Greek for “knowledge”) that most Catholics do not have.
"Ultimately, having serious concerns about Francis while still accepting the legitimacy of his pontificate demands humility. It recognizes that we as individual Catholics do not have the authority to say who is or who isn’t the pope. We recognize instead that Christ founded a visible Church—with fallible men put in charge—and that we must remain in that Church, acknowledging her visible leaders, or we risk being burned."

book of Acts is a very good book. Just read the entire chapter of Acts 5.  this is very similar to what's going on today.
Acts 5: 27-33
27 And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest questioned them, 28 saying, “We strictly charged you not to teach in this name, yet here you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men. 30 The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree. 31 God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

The whole point of this is and I'm a Catholic I don't understand why Catholics worship the Catholic religion over Jesus Christ. The Catholic religion in Jesus Christ are not the same thing. I don't know why Catholics a lot of them worship the Pope. Don't tell me he's the Vicar of Christ because that is a lie. There is no one that is a representation of Jesus Christ on Earth or anywhere except Jesus Christ get this in your head. They have been many popes from the beginning of the papacy. And if you do your research it's not hard all the information is there the papacy is just another branch of the Roman Empire. If you don't like the truth in this stings this is exactly true history so get out of your bubble. There have been popes that have been religious men and been devoted to God. Pope Pius the 10th pope gregorita 13th Pope Benedict Pope Leo the 13th. These men put God first the way it's supposed to be. I speak to Catholics all the time they know nothing of the word of God. They're not studied they're not versed and the Catholic Church fails to do this which is to teach the Catholic laity. I could stand here all day and knock people that are Catholic but the bottom line is it all has to start from the top. If the top is not doing the correct teaching and putting itself first above God then the effect downhill is going to be horrible and they know this. When I speak and talk about the Catholic religion people don't even today know the seven sacraments. They don't even know what the sacrament of confession is called which is the sacrament of reconciliation. Do you know how really disgustingly sad that is. People don't even go to confession they just go up and receive Holy Communion and they receive it in their hand not on the tongue. If you open up and look at a Catholic catechism which is what the Catholic church is supposed to go by because it's the doctrine and the tradition of the Catholic Church it says that you can do none of these things. But go to church and half hour before church is only a few people in there before Mass when Mass begins almost the whole church is built no one want the confession. But if you go and look up in the Catholic catechism it's a thick book you will see that the Catholic Church itself goes against its own self. So being a Catholic if I'm going to stick to rules and guidelines of being a Catholic and the whole entire Catholic clergy isn't then what do you have left. Get this understanding when you read the Bible which you should there is no word Pope. The pope is a man-made thing.

What is the update? Have sedevacantists gained a more righteous position? Are they right after all??

That’s what I have asking for some time …why did the church havre to make such drastic changes to the mass? There is really no theological explanation for such a change! No sound theologian can ever explain!

I know a few sedevacante bishops, and one thing I see is I wonder how much education they have. You don't ever see after their names STD sacred theology doctorate or DD doctor of divinity, JCD, Juris Canon doctor, etc. And finally if Pius the 12th was the last Pope then Apostolic succession has ceased. There is no one left alive they can ordain and consecrate.

Addendum: and another thing, the only way that they could get it back that is the church in the sedevacantist mind is let's say Cardinal Burke was elected Pope, he would have to get a sedevacante Bishop to ordain him a priest and then consecrate him a bishop and then get rid of all the other Bishop's priest and Cardinals or reordain or re-consecrate them. Or secondly, all the sedevacantist in the United States for instance I suppose could go over to Rome storm the apostolic Palace, St John Lateran the the whole entire apparatus and take it over by force. Can't you see several thousand state of a contest try to roll over the Swiss guard and the Italian army and the Vatican police and take the entire headquarters of the Latin church over by force? Good luck with that.
