How stupid do you have to be to steal in view of a camera? The TSA has always been security theater but this really shows the caliber of employee they are hiring. These folks aren't protecting you from anything.

My husband had a heirloom watch and his wedding band disappear from a bag when he went through security, after being told to put them in his bag to go through himself. Because we were naive about the steps we could take to try and prove that’s where they disappeared, we weren’t able to try to get them back. I hope these three get the maximum punishment allowed.

On August 24th 2023, Newark Airport Employees stole my YSL and Veneta Bottega bags. They dumped all my content which I had inside my bags out into my luggage and stole my bags. No way they could have went missing or misplaced without the contents I had inside. I pray the perpetrators get caught and held accountable for their actions. I’m so nervous about traveling now because they had no reason to open my luggage other than to steal my bags

This why I don’t let them check me until I know my bag is all the way in that machine, and then Im beating it through so I can retrieve my stuff when it comes out…. I never did trust that 😌

I am a honorably discharged war veteran who can't get a job with TSA because I don't have three people “who know me well” for their form. Obviously, the people that knew them well lied! I would never steal from American citizens. The hiring process has to change. Later

This breaks my heart as a current TSA employee. Even though i’m located all the way across the nation I feel so bad for passengers who have to go through this. Also it doesn’t make sense to me why they would even do this. The application process consists of an intense background check, a knowledge test, medical tests, drug tests and then there is an entire probational period which is very strict. I feel sorry for the passengers but also for the TSA image because of bad people like this…

The ones that really deserve hard time in a federal prison are the ones that report large sums of cash to the DEA, which gets seized and kept with no proof of criminality.
