Oh my god, I've been in so many art classes and have never been taught this. When you pulled out the primary colors + b/w and started busting out skin tones, my jaw dropped. You've been such a good teacher on all of these how-to videos! Thank you!!

You know, I usually just draw and listen to what's going on in the video as I'm working on commissions, but MAN. When you bring in my man Morgan Freeman(MY GOD) I just could not tear away at how stunning you made him look(that and the fact I love that 1000 year old man lol). I love how your instructions weren't confusing and you even made me to stop doing digital for a while and work with some traditional mediums, there's just something so pleasing and satisfactory about painting that just gets me. Beautiful work, I'm sorry for gushing can't wait to see more!

The Morgan portrait looks amazingly rich with colors! I love painting people of color for this reason❤️. The paint mixing section was really helpful, thanks robin!😊❤️

Robin. Sorry to hear about your divorce...sadly I've been there and done that. Wish I'd tried art to help me recover, as I feel it would have helped me hugely at the time. I hope you will feel back to your self again soon hun. God bless you and may He walk with you always.

I simply love watching you paint, it's so soothing. You are extremely talented hun! Have a great, great day. Be well. Bye for now. All the best in your life journey from here on in. Ttfn x

these are amazing and i'm so glad you did a darker skin tone because it's harder to find decent tutorials on dark skin tones but they are just so beautiful and interesting to paint! what kind of oil paints and medium do you use? i'm looking into trying oil painting but i want to be sure i'm buying decent things because oils are so expensive and i don't want to end up with money wasted on a poor quality brand xx

Amazing.... I struggle a lot with light skin tones, I always seem to end up with something too pink or too orange. I think I'm getting better at it with more practice but it just frustrates me

how do you get an exact outline of their faces to start with? i would love to see the process you have to execute that. i always struggle getting the exact outline of someones face. it would be the biggest help if you could show me or tell me what you do? i love your work and im trying my hardest to get to this level

This is SO HELPFUL. Most people who do skin tutorials they only do one skin tone. This helps so much to have two different people with different skin tones as your references. THANK YOU!!!!

I didn't even need to watch the full video, the intro song and the dramatic music made me subscribe 😂😂😂

Everytime some random non artist tells me "don't use black in your work", they seem to think I'm talking shit when I say it's allowed and it just depends on how you use. Thank you for proving them wrong and me right :3
