I was just thinking you have produced over 1100 videos in 3 years that’s a skincare library arsenal and at no cost to the consumer!! You rock Dray! ☕️💃🏻🎉🎁🎄⭐️

I was guilty of trying to scrub away acne prior to my Dray awakening 🤦🏼‍♀️

For years I was guilty of thinking that the more I used abrasive cleansers, the better my skin would be. 😬 Then I found your channel and I completely changed the way I treat my skin. All for the better! Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Friday!! I hope you, your sweet momma and little Tybee have a fabulous weekend! 💚

This was the perfect video today, I think I overdid it. Having some red blotches and flakiness that I don’t normally have. I think the cold weather and dry heat in the house has caused more sensitivity in my skin. Thanks Dr. Dray, time to heal my face.

I went on vacation and forgot to bring anything exfoliating, and for that two weeks had the simplest skincare routine. My skin was glowing and looked amazing at the end of it. Whoops!

This is exactly what I needed to hear! The dry winter weather made my normal exfoliating routine too much so I’ve done what you said, applying the exfoliating products less often, washing less and applying moisturizer more. It’s helped a lot, thanks!

I never had acne before I started messing around with skin ‘care’ products. My face would just get rinsed in the shower and I had zero issues. When I began introducing a gentle cleanser I had minimal acne and now having added benzoyl peroxide and SA I’ve really messed up my skin. This video is a great reminder to bring it back to the basics. I’m currently doing two gentle cleanses a day but hope to get down to one soon! It’s been a tough way to learn not to fix what isn’t broken.

A damaged moisture barrier is never fun to deal with! Thank you for shining a light on this Dr dray! 🙌❤️

I think the whole exfoliating rage began with the god-awful St. Ive's apricot kernel scrub from the 1980's. We were programmed to think that shiny skin is polished skin...aka: extra smooth. I use an exfoliant so seldom now, maybe once per month or every other month. And it's pretty mild stuff, no physical scrubs.

Just what I needed to hear! Recently my face has started to sting and is reddish. Less washing, more moisturizing and no exfoliating for me. Thanks for making things less complicated for us!

Yes this was a tough lesson learned! But I realized my error. Took a good 8 weeks of babying my skin. No exfoliants, water rinse in the morning. No actives. No sunscreen, which I hate to say because I know protection is needed indoors. But it was March 2020 so was seriously inside.

I used to physically exfoliate my body almost every day. Since I watched your videos, all my "torture devices" have been disposed of or are solely dedicated to the bottom of my feet. Lol. Happy friday, Dr. Dray!

I wish I had this information when I suffered from acne and dry skin at the same time. I was told to keep exfoliating which made things worse. Less is more when it comes to skincare. Thanks Dr Gray.

I used to use a chemical (glycolic cream) and a physical exfoliant (buff puff) while bathing. My skin would be so itchy that it kept me up at night. Upon seeing your videos, I cut back & now just use a soft wash rag plus an exfoliant cream. I now have no issues. Thanks so much.🙏

My Father is a carpenter, sanding is for wood, NOT something to be done to skin! As I have gotten older (now in my 50's) the amount of exfoliating has increased from 1-2 times per week to 4-5 times. However the type of exfoliation is more gentle, went from glycolic to lactic acid. Added in Azelaic acid and many more barrier repair serums such as Stratia Liquid Gold.

Summery: use products with minimal ingredients. Vaseline, ceramides and sunscreen. Although I can imagine the last can stain on damaged skin. Can take upto 4 weeks to heal.

I needed this today. I’m definitely over exfoliated right now. I just started to increase my differen usage to every two days rather than every three. Damn sensitive skin!

I had just used an eye gel that advertised as depuffing and after a week of using it my undereyes were really red rough dry and they hurt! I read the ingredients and it had witch hazel, blue tansy, rose oil, and peptides. I'm not sure what one bothered me, but I stopped immediately and slathered CeraVe healing ointment on them every night and that helped so much!

Perfect timing! Winter temps and dryer air indoors has lead to dry flaking skin. Just going to take a break altogether from the chemicals and use the KISS method
