I've done two Isotretinoin treatments and none of the dermatologists I went to see ever gave me this essential information. Quite the contrary... I went on accutane 12 years ago (was acne free for a few years afterwards). It really does dry up your whole system. My tips: lots of water, no alcohol, no eating fatty foods before your liver function test (accutane can elevate your triglycerides), keep Aquaphor on hand, and no waxing! (And use sunscreen often obviously!)
