@ 3:48 You talk about setting up your auth type to basic, but the only two options that are available to me are "OAuth" and "Personal Access Token". Is there something I have done incorrectly or is there something that I can do to change that?

I have downloaded from github before, but this really explained a lot of things I had wondered about. I am grateful you explained how to do this during this RPG series because I never would have gone through with it otherwise.

I used oAuth and pressed the reset login rectangle button and it just took me to a web page where i scrolled down and pressed ok or authorize and it worked, then you just put the username and password of your github in the popup and that should be all. Im not sure why he said to not use oauth but since basic wasnt there for me i just used that.

The sourcetree set up is a bit outdated compared to the video. I ended up giving up due to the differences. So different that I was unable to link github and sourcetree at all. Will revisit this if the need arises, but thanks for the video all the same!

Could you explain why authentication needs to be on basic? Because basic did not work for me and I have to use oauth and that worked.

why doesnt my sourcetree add account menu not show basic? it just shows personal acces token and OAuth, but if i have the option gitbucket it says basic

so do you run the project out of the new folder now? any problems with saving in ue5 or do I just need to copy and paste files between folders every time?

When I try to create the Repository it says :


Failed to create remote repository

SourceTree was unable to create the remote repository

Failed to create repository 'Project name' for user 'Me".

I can't login 4:00 what shouls I do? my username and password is correct! The error says, authentication failed. People online are telling to delete passwd file but I don't have such file.

Could you please do a tutorial on cooldowns?
I am currently trying to set up a double jump system with a cooldown for the second jump so a tutorial on that would be awesome.
