In the middle of Madrid, a group of citizens get trapped in a bar after the last two clients that tried to get out got shot as soon as they stepped outside.

This is actually quite a good movie. Poor choices of characters can be excused as it's actually a comedy

Frankly, people inside the bar are insane, and government is insanely incompetent. If their goal was to just get rid of everyone, why not just do so? Or if their goal was to quarantine, why not just communicate that and get them to co-operate? Basically this is on of those movies where someone just pulled drama out of their ass and throw out any logic :D
Also it's funny how survivors in these quarantine movies are basically enemies of mankind by spreading the virus :D

Spanish movies are experts on giving you the most weird and unexplained plots and then just leave the viewer to their devices to figure out wtf had happened

And as it turns out Elena ends up being the reason why the zombie plague escaped containment and Europe quickly falls, followed by Asia and Africa.

Nacho is such an instigator. He wasn’t suspicious because he has a beard. He’s suspicious because he tried hiding his bag without anyone having even acting upon it. If he had just stayed quiet no one would’ve said anything. He brought it on himself.

I laughed a lot when they sent the girl though the sewers and she bled all over the water because sepsis will kill her faster than the disease and they now succeeded in spreading the disease to the rest of the world.
Then then proceeded to make the hole larger to fit everyone and i just bursted laughing out loud.

The moral of the story: Don't take it to heart if your new crush ghosts you, even in person, you can never know what kind of day they had . . .

I remember watching a different movie like this, but the guy wasn't sick. When they finally realized who he was and why they were were looking for him, fights broke out, and then when the law finally came in and shot some people he was able to walk out with the other survivors.
