This is PROBABLY why your shoulders hurt when you do the Chest Press…

Flaring your elbows out to the sides is the problem.
Holding the dumbbells horizontally like a barbell is the ROOT of the problem.

Holding your dumbbells diagonally and letting your elbows go down at a 45 degree angle, rather than out at a 90 degree angle is the solution.

You’ll also feel stronger and get a better range of motion.
Simple as that.

I’m unable to exercise with chronic illness, but I watch these. Mainly because if I know how my body works then I can use it better, even just for getting out of bed. Thanks for your work!
