The Men in Black are back, and this time Agent J (Will Smith) must take a trip into the past in order to save both the future and his taciturn partner Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) in the third installment of the hit sci-fi comedy series. But just when he's getting the hang of the game, he learns that history has inexplicably been rewritten. In this new timeline of events, Agent K has been dead for 40 years, and Earth will soon come under attack from an extraterrestrial force with the power to claim the entire planet. Now, in order to set the past straight and head off an invasion of epic proportions, Agent J must travel back to the year 1969, when Young Agent K (Josh Brolin) was just a fresh new face on the force. I love Griff - he reminds me of the sweetness of Robin Williams

The way K looks at him and parenthetically says "almost forgot" shows us that he knows what would have happened.

Yeah, I don't think International can top this. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are great but they ain't Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith.  At the end of the day it wasn't fighting aliens, cool gadgets or a overarching conspiracy aspect that made MIB movies iconic and classics though they helped, it was these two guys and their chemistry that did that

The expression on k's face is amazing because now he knows that j is the one he met a long time ago

Plus one win

The point of these films have always been about connection and relationships. Not about overarching plots and great alien enemies, but how we're a small part of a bigger picture. Maybe there is a grand scheme or maybe there isn't, but the universe is so expansive and marvelous that we'll never get to see it all, but we should focus on this life and this world. I'm 50/50 on the philosophy, but I like how this ends in line with the past movie's endings where hey the universe is big, scary, and it can kill us. Hell, some are playing with it like a game of marbles, but we got each other, and more importantly even if we don't know it, we've got the Men In Black.

Griffin looks like what would happen is you injected too much happy drugs into Quentin Tarantino.

The chemistry between these two is fantastic. What a perfect ending to the J and K trilogy.

Even with the new MiB movie coming out, i think this was a really sweet and perfect way to say goodbye to this duo. Its perfect closure.
Also I just noticed that small detail at the beginning. K was singing to that song due to the influence J had on him on the past, which made him appreciate a few genres outside of just country.

K knew the entire time who he was. He couldn't tell him what would happen because it could mess things up so he kept it to himself, watching over J and waiting for the right time. When J put the watch down K knew he finally saw what happened.

"Its been a privilege" so sad when you know this could be the last men in black movie

Like the little touch that he's learned the songs, that K has changed a bit because of it all.

At first he didn’t know what he was talking about but I think that after J shows him the pocket watch K puts together that he’s talking about his father and how K looked after him and recruited him after that, and him saying “It’s been my privilege” wasn’t just talking about him being an agent, but also being able to help a lost kid who never knew what happened to his dad

"I´s been my privilege."- The way Tommy Lee Jones delivered this line always gets me. He even got choked up a little bit. Amazing acting, if you ask me.
These two guys made the franchise. Too bad they had to ruin it all by making that MIB International bs.

The expression on K’s face when he realizes that the question about J’s father, why he recruited J, the “things that the universe doesn’t know” that he has been hiding and avoiding to answer all these 14 years, has finally been solved. He got no worry, no regret toward J anymore
