I'm a student and I picked the iPad Mini and sold my Air. Since I have a MacBook as a laptop, lugging around a heavy and relatively large iPad Air didn't make a lot of sense. Also, I read a lot of ePubs (which aren't really supported excellently by Kindles), and was just looking for something very portable and small to do small sketches on, take some handwritten notes and read. I think I made the right choice for my use-case :)

I did not really focus at what you were saying about iPads because I already have two of them and these are my favorite devices, but I was watching with attention how polished your videos are, the background, ways of shooting, position of your camera etc… it is so artistic. Kudos for this work because it is highly time consuming but the result is just stunning.

The one thing I think is worth mentioning (regardless of the fact that iPad software isn’t there *yet) is that in the Pro models, the reason for the price jump is that the 1TB and 2TB models also jump to 16GB of RAM (the 512GB and lower storage options have 8GB of RAM). Again, I’m not convinced that makes any real difference since the software just isn’t there yet. But, if you never want to close even one application on your iPad, you won’t notice anything ever slowing down.

I bought the iPad Pro 12.9 to upgrade from the 10.5 2017 model. I guess I’m what you would call an “iPad enthusiast” but I wanted the bigger screen and the mini-Led. The only thing I’m a little worried about is that I got the 128 gb version as it was on a good deal where I bought it, and my 10.5 is 256 gb, but as I only used 73 gb out of those 256, I guess I should be fine with 128 gb. I also ordered the pencil because I want to start digital planning and note taking.

Great job, after watching your photo edit videos etc I wanted to jump on an iPad Pro 11 inch, I ended up getting an amazing deal second hand for a 11 inch Pro 2021 256gb with cellular for £625, I was so lucky!

Still happy with my Air 2 but will need to replace soon as updates will stop next year. The Air would meet my needs but as I will be keeping it for a long time for my limited use I am waiting for the new Pro 11 with led next spring. May reconsider the current Pro 11 as the led may have too much impact on the battery time and wear and tear on the iPad. Again, would have gone with the Air if it had 128gb.

I have had the 2015 ipad pro 9.7, 2017 ipad pro 10.5, 2018 ipad pro 12.9, and 2021 ipad mini. Biggest dealmakers to me is the laminated screeen and apple pencil 2. 120hz is surprisingly not a huge deal unless you're gaming or web browsing a lot, since screen scrolling/fast panning is really noticiblely better on 120 hz.

From what I've seen online the mini is very commonly bought as an ipad meant to be used in the workplace, I use it as a server because I have splitscreen view and i can take orders then punch them in on the same tablet which still fits in my apron
