Updated Toned Hair Routine! (Won't affect your natural hair color!)

Hi there! I have a updated routine on how I tone my hair with an existing dark base. If you have toned with a dark base with developer, you would know how the developer will lift color from your unprocessed hair and leave a reddish hue (if you had dark hair originally). This can be frustrating if you're trying to get a cooler toned hair. It won't affect your dark unprocessed hair. It deposits color into your blonde/light hair since it uses a lower amount of developer. The effect isn't as dramatic as the toner with the developer but this is a good alternative.

Please tone according to the lightest part of your hair. I was going dark for fall so I'm not as blonde as my previous hair video.

Wella ColorCharm: Activating Lotion
Wella ColorCharm Demi Permanent Haircolor 8A-8/1 Light Ash Blonde

(if you have a level 10 blonde(light-yellow blonde, see Google) then use 10A)

hi, thanks for posting this. i use wella demi 7A & 8A to neutralize brunette brass and freshen faded color. i know this upload is older now but just wanted to share that the wella demi activating lotion is a volume 6 developer (I called the number on the bottle). I'm about to refresh my color with 8A for 15 mins. :)

Demi's use a 5% or 7% developer, but they do use a developer. Woops. ;)

So you are not calling the activating lotion developer ? Ah yeah it is peroxide. Just a different level than 20%

Now all you need is a shampoo for volume or something for a bit of curls so your hair doesn't appear so 'flat'.
