For those thinking of buying the gopro wireless remote.  The gopro smartphone app can perform all the wireless remote control / configuration functions of the gopro camera PLUS you can preview the live image on the phone (albeit with a very slight delay).  Simply put, if you have a smartphone with the gopro app, the gopro remote is obsolete.

The GoPro hero 4 black actually has 240 fps! It's in 720p!

Great review guys, I was worried that if I get the silver edition I'd be seriously missing out but this video shows that it's practically identical to the black with the exception of 4K.

got a hero 4 BLACK, 64GB SD, If using for vacations, family get togethers or other memorable moments, get the black, record in 4K, and down-sample to 1080p, better details even at 1080p(downscaled/post recording), and latest firmware updates give better night control and shots. With 4K resolution, its pretty future proof. Was at an adventure park with the waterproof housing, The camera and housing fell from my harness 40ft landing upside down on a rock! Case and Hero 4 BLACK camera survived, battery didn't seem to fare as well, life is now about 50% of what it was before the fall. Unbelievable Action cameras, Great job GO PRO!!

Great video.  I bought the silver 4 to replace my Hero 3 black.  I did have an LCD with the 3 and love having it integrated.
