Had to take a break from YouTube for a few months because of work stuff 👍 Hoping to be back at some point in July. Excited to get back into the swing of things. Miss you goons.

A buddy and me were trying out our new speeder bikes on Tattooine when we saw a group fighting a krayt dragon. We offered to help but they called us something racist and told us to piss off and get our own kill or something. I was still pretty fresh to the game so all I could do is ride off.... My buddy on the other hand was a high level animal wrangler. So he pulled three more krayts down on them and THEN we rode off... watching them getting eaten. Good times.

I spent way too much of my junior and senior years of high school playing this game. I recognize in retrospect it definitely had its flaws, but my god the first 1-2 years of the game were pure magic.

Developers don’t understand what made a game like this such a hit. It’s the fact that not everything is in a battle pass. Doesn’t hold your hand and tell you what you’re doing. You saw people getting joy from being a droid engineer. Didn’t have to revolve around combat.

I remember playing this game in my dads mobile home. I use to run a Spy on the game in Sunrunner! This game has given me a lot of grief and fun in my childhood. But I will never forget when j was leveling up and driving across the sand dunes of tattooine, heading to jabbas palace on my barc speeder.

Hunting Jedi as a Bounty Hunter was the absolute best video gaming experience i ever had. Nothing beat that adrenaline rush.

SWG was made in a time when PC games were getting wildly popular, but developers had enough freedom to make an epic gameplay experience. So many aspects of it were well thought out. The crafting and resource systems, for example, allowed players to make weapons, armor, food and many other things in different ways, which could be priced and marketed for different purposes. I knew several players who weren't even Star Wars fans. They just played because it was a great game. I recommend anyone who ever thought about trying it to give it a go. It's that good.

"Like a Star Wars Chatroom " The only game i have ever logged into and played that i felt fine doing nothing in, just sitting online in the cantina talking shit, talking with friends it was an amazing social experience . Thanks to all who played Chilastra and were apart of it, from DoP to Force Academy too

Hope everything is well, Greedo…
Thought you might post your thoughts on Kenobi, and maybe some of the other news coming out of Celebration, but hopefully you’re just taking a break.

I have described this game to my friends for a long time, and sometimes even I find myself wondering if this game ever really existed. It's like it was just too good, like I was remembering a dream. It was a great part of my childhood, my first MMO, and a very fun game that I really immersed myself in.

I actually only played post-CU/NGE, so I never experienced the original game. Played a Commando and fought for the Rebellion on the ground and in space. I played until the last days of the game, and I still miss those years.

I spent so much time in SWG as a teenager. Grinding Jedi with the Holorcron system. Mastered 28/32 Professions before unlocking. So much fun. Met some really cool people playing this game I still talk to them today.

I was 16 when the game first came out and boy did I flake out on many homework assignments those first 2 years of high school (lol). I still love and appreciate all iterations of SWG.

Anyone not into the NGE, I don’t blame them. When you play a game a certain way for so long, it’s not always easy to just up and change when you’re settled in your ways. It took a lot of patience from me to stick with it, but I’m glad I did. NGE just offered so much more to do in the game for content, but the character building of pre-cu was undeniable!

Thank you for the lovely video and spending some of your time on Legends. The people that work on it are some of the best folks I’ve ever known and have such a deep admiration for Star Wars Galaxies.

Honestly bro I felt like it was the meta verse I loved playing the game back in the day and hanging with the gang on teamspeak, roleplaying, working on my own home. It was a great place to get away and hangout with friends. I really have no regrets ever spending my time on SWG

Forever my favorite SW game, I was so into the space expansion, loved upgrading and selling parts and eventually got my pride and joy B wing. My server had a little spacefaring community within it.

Talking about selling buffs at the spaceport just brough me back to that time. I was a master doctor as well selling my crappy buffs and undercutting everyone's prices.

When I was younger, I got a PC game pack.

Republic Commando, Empire at War, and 30-day trial to Galaxies. I don't think I ever played it, due to me thinking it was a paid MMO and not being old enough to have a job.

Played the everloving hell out of EaW, and a couple playthroughs of RC. I have some very fond memories of the multiplayer in RC.

I never got to check this game out, but I think I will do just that. I think I'd love it. Thank you, Stormtrooper-man.

I was addicted to this game.. from 2003 to 2005 I actually lived in SWG.. while for some people this might have been a waste of time I won‘t regret a single second of playing. There is no game out there, that gave me such a feeling.
