If you do the belts, ask about the new type of belt for the oil pump! It’s a different material that doesn’t disintegrate!

Hi Mark. You're right to leave the belts, however I've noticed on a lot of traders channels, that they drop the sump and clear the oil pick up before doing the oil change for peace of mind. Just a thought. Cheers 👍👍

Might be worth investing in a small shipping container for all your bulky parts Mark.

Just do the wet belt and oil pump belt and add it on the price of the car. They really are a lottery on these, even with good history. The cat S is for the damage to the inner wing rather than the leg.

Another good vidio Mark but I would have bought and fitted a genuine ford new suspension strut a second hand one spoils what is a great car, and secondly I would definitely change them belts the original belts were made with inferior material and can and do wreck a perfect engine by blocking the oil pick up pipe with belt particles it would be a real shame if that engine got trashed the new belts are a far better material would be a good selling point and also would be great content for your channel to change the belts.

You shouldn’t be using the ramp as a means to pull from…they are designed to lift vertically and not have horizontal forces on them. Sorry but that’s just an accident waiting to happen.

Maybe look to fit a designated beam into the floor to pull from

I dont think main dealers are trying to compete with breakers, its more the fact people on ebay are way to greedy, but you cant blame them if people pay, i see it with VW bits, breakers/Ebay want 150/160 for a polo 6c wing, main dealer to me is under 140

Stay away from timing belts . I would not do one . Every one says who does em belt from hell to do . Needs someone who does em alot . Has the knowledge of em.. 😮. Stick to what you can do with conference . Door clamp puller on front edge and pull forwards relieve the stress in the door skin. 😊

If I was buying it for Peace of mind Iwould pay more and have you do the belts . Knowing the history of the 1.0 Ford engines.
