yes i did just finish my new condo renovations. yes i am going through my quarter life crisis right now. anyway, here's me moving to nyc for the summer (and possibly beyond)

I just discovered your channel with the “a boy made me cry so I’m leaving nyc” video and so I’ve backtracked to catch up on your vlogs (LOVE your content) but GIRL, it’s the foreshadowing for me!! With your comment of I feel like when everything is going good something bad has to happen, it’s a real reflection of the dichotomy of the universe. Everything good needs just as big of “bad” to keep its balance and in a way it’s a beautiful thing. Feeling all of the feelings are what the human experience is all about. When I was younger I used to go to NY all the time because my family is from Queens. I would always go with my family because that’s just what I was used to doing, never really exploring for myself and doing the things I wanted to do. Last month I went for the first time without them to explore the city for myself and visit a friend. And now I want to move there 😭 also since my aspirations changed to me wanting to be a fashion stylist it’s definitely a no brainer I have to go. Thank you for being so realistic, I’m watching videos for encouragement rn/tips so thanks for the encouragement!!

i really love hearing that you're in a really good place in your life right now where a lot of fun stuff has been hapening to you. I'm so excited for the summer as well!! I'm going to be doing so many fun things and i have a lot to look forward to once my exams are done. I feel like i'm finally becoming more open to new things and becoming a little more independant as time goes by. I'm just in a better place over all and i want to make this summer so much fun because the last year really sucked. I was in such a bad place so i love that we're both experiencing fun stuff and i hope it continues for a long time <3

As someone who was born in nyc and grew up there I hated living there especially being Dominican in Washington heights. Finally left to Seattle 2021 and moved back to ny a year later but decided it was best to live atleast 30 min away from the city. Yeas sometimes it’s boring and lonely but there’s more freedom from just everything.
