I have a question. After so much scrutiny about trying "audiophile" headphones, has it changed your taste in headphones any?

What else would you expect from a basshead? All I see are bass heavy headphones with the exception of the M50s which should have been number 1 on the list. But then again this is UrAvgConsumer, and the avg consumer today indeed, only goes for bass, bass, and more bass. So nothing wrong here.

Yes! Good Job on putting the M50s in front of the Beats Headphones! I still don't understand why people buy Beats apart from style.... The sound is not that great, Really Expensive, and Too much bass

Thanks for the video. Any thoughts on the Alesis SRP100? It has a wide frequency range and seems to be well made but I cannot test it. The other model I can get is the Sennheiser HD419, but I'm not sure if it is better than the Alesis. Kind regards.

Most of the best sound headphones I've ever bought were Sony Headphones, and those Pulse Elites are like the best sounding headphones I've ever used. The only problem is every pair of Sony headphones I've ever owned have been ridiculously fragile and those are no different. They literally break by just normal usage due to the heft of the head cup, the compression they have to sit sung on your head, and the cheap plastic they use to connect them to the headband. I love the sound so much though I've bought 3 pair, my first is broken, my second is cracking, and I bought a 3rd on sale as a backup, because stuff like this Sony will usually give up on and you won't be able to get them as easy later.
