I’ve had this nagging feeling that I’m due an upgrade on my trusty Bose 700 noise-cancelling headphones, which I’ve had for a while. So I bought the 5 best ANC headphones on the market (and one cheap one), and put them head-to-head in this review.

I've had the Sony 1000XM4's for about a year now, and they are just amazing. The noice cancellation is damn near perfect, and are extremely comfortable. A perfect wireless headphone for not such a big hole in the pocket xD

I just got the Sony WH1000XM4 (what a name lol) and I LOVE them!! They are so helpful for studying long hours at a time and editing. Great review Ali! ☺️💜💜

I tested all of them and Sony 1000XM4 are still the best. I recommended even 1000XM3 version. The are damn good too. And way cheaper. Headphone jack is a must for online gaming. Apple Headphones are insanely uncomfortable. I couldn't stand them after an hour of listening. Sony's are way lighter and super comfortable even after whole day.

Hey Ali, there's a mistake I'd like to correct about the AirPods Max. It is true, they do not have a jack connector. BUT they do have a lightning connector (the one you use to charge them). If you use a cable that is lightning to mini-jack, then you can plug them, and use them with any device, even on the plane. You're welcome 🥰

I have the Sony WH-1000XM3 - they are sick

Ive had the 1000xm3 for a little over 3 years. The leather has the smallest, I mean smallest wrinkles. Sound quality has not diminished and it still noise cancels perfectly fine even after I gym hard with them on (They say they wont repair any water damage as the headphones arent water resistant) and tend to sweat a bit. I highly recommend them

I really enjoy Ali's content, but I've noticed that the videos descriptions keep getting updated to seem current, like this one that's actually 2 years old. It's misleading because there are so many new headphones out now, and that feels a bit shady and unfair to viewers. Sorry, but I had to dislike this one. edit:

nah disagree with the Apple choice. For me, i tried the sony, apple and B&O H95. Sony i enjoyed having especially with the comfort and sound quality. The apple - the headband annoyed me a lot, and it kept on hitting each other when just hanging around your neck. However, the H95, i know the price is a lot, but this all round had the best sound quality, noise cancellation and the build is just superior!

glad to see my q30s on this list. I got them on a deal which allowed me to purchase a 3yr warranty and still cost under retail. first was unimpressed by the fit but after a week I was customer to it. i switch between transparency and noise cancelling all the time during workouts. one of the more impressive feats was when i was 3 meters away from my blender and I switched to noise cancelling and the noise basically went to a vacuum in the basement. battery life is also really good. Sometimes when my sibling or mother is really loud in the morning i turn on the noise cancelling and my white noise it's the fastest I ever hit REM. usually takes me 15 minutes to get comfortable but with the noise it goes to 5 minutes. fast charge is really good as well because when the battery goes from high to medium after around 15 hours of usage you can charge it for an hour and it's back to high. I LOVE THEM! i had the soundcore life dot 2 with noise cancelling and those were also extremely decent for the price range but the fit was so uncomfortable for me. soundcore i think is the best bang for your buck commercial portable audio makers
