The way for me to get an expensive camera for "cheap" is by selling my old one. By "upgrading" my gear, so to speak, I can easily afford the expensive camera with the money that I earn by selling my old gear. Hope this makes sense :)

when it comes to tech, i always recommend buying new. yeah you can save a hundred bucks or some more, but the risk to reward ratio isnt worth it, especially if its going to be your main tech, or camera. unless it isnt going to be your main, then its fine to buy used or renewed etc.

So I'm saving $75 on an item that has had issues and was supposedly fixed back to new working order. But for that $75 savings now my warranty is only 90 days instead of a year or two?
