And let me tell you that coincidentally i ordered the same cover along with extra nibs and page turner…i have received the cover and extra nibs and i already had the goose neck stand …so right now i am waiting for the page turner and once i received it then like you i will be experiencing the bliss soon 😄…

Good morning MJ, and thank you for posting this information! First off, I want to say that you are VERY entertaining, LOL! Also, because of a recent review you posted on the Scribe (which I commented on yesterday), I wound up taking the plunge and ordering it this morning, and am expecting it to arrive later today. So thank you for that review. You were the one who ultimately convinced me! I was in the process of looking at cases and I remember the problem you had mentioned about the fabric case fraying around the edges, so I am avoiding that. The case you reviewed today I am strongly considering and I appreciate your honest feedback. The remote looks fun, but I think my wife would make me swallow it if I spent any money on such things, LOL! I will keep looking into cases, but again, thank you for this review, I appreciate it! I love any excuse to buy gear. Only loosely related to the Scribe but I bought an egg chair very similar to yours last year for a covered patio. Mine came from Lowes but I imagine they probably all come from the same egg chair factory. If you have any blowing rain be sure to dry it off. Mine started to rust and the wrap began to swell within a couple of months of having it.

I've just bought the Kindle previously knew the Kindle mainly because I do a lot of freehand doodling and sketching ideas of things I want to make and the amount of scrap paper gets out of hand, and when you want to find something, you scribbled a note on the Gremlins hid it not a bookaholic but with the Kindle now I have a dozen or so books on the Scribe, and wow is it a way to pass the time when you have things to do and don't do
i was so wowed with the Scribe I went and bought the 6" kindle as well, mainly because it's very pocketable and secondly because it has the baby elephant design on the I can read on the move without worrying that the Scribe will get damaged or "lifted "by some admirer.
I fully agree about the cover....I have the blue one for the Scribe with the Celtic style pattern on it and it keeps the pencil right there.

There should be an option for the premium stylus that lets you use the button to turn the page. Maybe click the eraser to turn back. I don't have my Scribe yet but I'd love to be able to do this. I actually have no idea if that's even possible, but I think my Galaxy Note phone had options like using the stylus button to take photos, etc.

I am considering getting a Kindle Scribe. I have been on the fence but my husband said I should get it. He thinks i should. Hmmm...I do and I don't. 🤔 I have done the research. I have read and watched the videos on it. I love takin' old school notes, but as an author who loves to read and does still review books...🙃I have been eyeing it again. I love my gadgets, but will I love the heft of it? I have my Paperwhite for home and the Kindle 2022 for toting around and tossing in my bag, but I do like the Scribe ( a lot). I know I wouldn't carry it around with me, but it certainly would be a fabulous addition to my Kindle collection. Now, asking the Universe for guidance on my want and my need and making sure FOMO has nada to do with it. 😏 I have watched this (and Olly's) three times. 😊Thank you for sharing. Happy reading, MJ.

As a reading device it lacks the ability to remove books from the home page to the library where the collections are. Organizing your books is important so the home page isn't being cluttered with new books you have purchased or books you have read but don't need them on the home page any longer. The Kindle App on the iPhone, iPad, and Fire have the capability to remove the books back to the library and into collections. Amazon software writers please help the reader have the control for a more pleasant reading experience.

Absolutely love your review. I know the regular small Kindles allow us to email the annotations to the registered email ID in CSV and PDF formats. I have seen the highlights and typed notes are included in the CSV and PDF they email. What about the handwritten notes? Do those sticky notes get included in the PDF as well? Can you please let me know about this? You are so beautiful 😍

How about the PDF reading? Do you need to zoom it out(?) to read the text? I do want to read my latin pdfs lectures. Wondering about it. The kindle paperwhite is a bit annoying to do it

Can vouch for the cover. Wasn't going to pay an outrageous price for a cover that frays and I like the origami-type stand that works in both orientations (although does not appear to be angle adjustable (not a deal-breaker)).

I have a supernote a5x android tablet and last week I got a Bluetooth page turn button. All of the kindle apps on Android or iOS support using these page turn buttons via Bluetooth. So there isn’t something that has to touch the screen. Just a little button the side of a key fob.

The one I got was like $8.

It is great for these larger screen e readers. I can sit in a lounge chair and prop the reader up and be great. The kindle devices like the scribe do not support this for some reasons. I submitted a feature request for amazon to turn this on. They support Bluetooth audio so the hardware is there and just needs to be activated.
