So you read a page faster. That doesn't decrease the number of pages in the book. It just means you have to turn pages more often. I don't get the advantage of this trick.

Well, I tried to narrow it so tight the only one word fit a line.
Now I can read a whole book in about five minutes or so.
My productivity rate increased dramatically, although I cannot remember what I read.

I also have a kindle touch, I don't like how it lacks a backlight but it was 5$ with a case at a yard sale so I can't complain and it works great

What a brand-new looking Kindle!

I hacked mine and was able to get one letter per line. I’ve read books from the future, with this method.

I’d go with less page turns. The kindle has problems with skipping pages when you turn and that can destroy your flow.
Also, focus more on enjoying a book and taking as much of it in as you can rather than just finishing it.

That's too short, you should fit on avg 9 words in a column, Im a designer. Everytime you go to the next line is an opportunity to end up in the incorrect one. But mostly don't do this because it's better to have a larger continuous line for the rythm, otherwise it's like hiccupy.

You will end up having to turn many more pages tho, and ereaders don't have instant screen refresh. So I'm curious how much time you would actually save, if any?

Good tip, though i would still use the regular margins because when i read a book i like enjoying rather than finishing it
