Between the schools thinking that they are money-making corporations and the states abandoning their historic subsidy for in-state tuition, college is not worth it in many instances. Learn a trade instead. Most high-level jobs that you used to be able to get with a college degree have already been reserved for the children of the ruling class.

If you really want a higher education, skip the "prestige" schools and go to a small state university.
