I agree with the Banana Diet pre-sleep. Been eating a banana each night since i heard Dr Mandell short lecture a few months ago. And IT WORKS♥

My grandmother lived to be almost 95. She used to always have a banana at night. I think she would when she woke up in the middle of the night have a banana but I’m not sure I know she also took naps during the day as she got older, but she was an amazing woman.

As someone who has dealt with intermittent insomnia my whole life, I will tell you this is a game changer. If I ever wake up in the middle of the night now, it's banana time 🍌 and I'm usually asleep again within 30 minutes- it works at least 90% of the time!

I make myself banana tea to help me sleep at night:

6-8 bananas, sliced in chunks, peel and all; a quart and a half of water; a big chunk of ginger, sliced; three good-sized cinnamon sticks; and a pinch of salt. Simmer the bananas for half a day on the lowest setting and let sit (heat off) overnight. Next day strain into a pitcher with a lid. Before bed, put enough for one cup in a little saucepan, grate 1/4 tsp nutmeg into the saucepan to heat up gently. Put it in your cup with a little bit of honey (to taste). Drink and go to sleep.

I ate a banana last night before going to bed in I was sleep in 30 minutes... Wow!! I'm just now checking my phone and I see Dr. Mandell notification pop up on my phone.
