A Knife Sharpener That Really Works

I actually have this knife sharpener and I LOVE it. It is an amazing sharpener and works SO quickly. I clicked on this because I wanted to see what you'd have to say. I have never had a sharpener like this before and I know I will never need another.

Kevin- thank you for this tutorial! I purchased the sharpener (VG2 nylon base) and it works well and is easy to use. It seems reasonably safe to use which is a huge plus. You are so right - dull knives are a risk for getting cut. 😢

This, my friend, is what every prepper needs in their kitchen. If an event happens, 😳 (& with China, Russia and North Korea one never knows) or if the electricity goes out from an ice storm, having a knife sharpener, that does not need electricity, would be necessary. I have a few non-electric sharpeners that are worthless, and a great electric one. If the tomato can be sliced that thinly, that sharpener works. Thank you Kevin and Mr. Fox, for this demo. I appreciate it.

Whoa!! That is one great knife taker-carer!!! I remember my Dad using a whetstone for our knives. He even used them on his arrows for bow hunting. They were so sharp that he could save the hair off his arm with them. I think I will be pick up one of these tools. Thank you so much for sharing with us. AND thank you to Mr. Fox! So great! I have wondered what I can use to sharpen my knives. I remember my dad using a whetstone? But, that has always eluded me. This looks fab! Ordered one this morning. My hubby used to be a meat cutter and is skeptical about knife sharpeners but I had him watch this and he ordered one immediately. Hopeful that I can keep my knives sharp without having to leave them with the local knife sharpener for a week. Thanks Kevin and Mr. Fox!

Do you still use your Broad & Taylor sharpener? Will it sharpen to 15 & 20 degrees? I am wondering if you have experienced any blade chipping with this sharpener.

I dont believe it. Show us a paper cut test with a dull knive, then use this, then redo the paper test.
