This video will teach you how to adjust a rain bird rotor sprinkler head.

Sprinkler adjustment generally consists of two parts, adjusting rotation and choosing a nozzle. This video will cover adjusting the rotation of sprinklers only.

Rainbird Rotor Sprinkler heads are really simple to adjust, and similar to most other rotor sprinkler heads.

To adjust a rainbird sprinkler head, turn the sprinkler head all the way to the left, this is the fixed point, and can’t be adjusted.

Turn your sprinkler to align it with the direction you want it to start, and adjust the rotation to the right.

To adjust the rotation, insert your sprinkler tool, or a flat head screwdriver will work in a pinch, into this hole here.

Turning your screwdriver clockwise will let the rotor sprinkler turn further to the right, or counterclockwise to turn less far.

You can keep rotating the head of the sprinkler to test how the adjustment is going, turn the water on as well so you can see how the coverage is.
