OK....I am very sorry! I have to agree with those that have commented before me. This video just simply does not do it. I have watched many videos, including this one, and most are just plain confusing on this issue. I have worked for several may have finally figured out how to determine where the left stop set point is. What the narrator in this video and others are trying to indicated as how to place/position that left stop and then how to adjust where the ultimate spray patters stops on the right. I am hoping I get it to work this morning. Wish me luck. But, hasn't been straight forward for a newbie.

A better title... "How to *not* sell sprinkler heads"..
This sends customers straight to the competition (add me to the list).

LOL 😂 It's like the company "phoned" this in!

Ya, I tried turning the body to realign the left stop, no bueno!
Either it came loose/leaked, or if I tried
the 'around the world ' approach in opposite direction it would get to where I was super-reefing on it and it wasn't anywhere close to where I needed it to be.

Saw another vid where the guy loosens the collar, picks up the entire inner assembly, and drops it back in with the left stop nozzle indicator where he wants it. Then retightens the collar. After that, Only needed minor arc adjustment to the right stop using the screwdriver.

Seems plausible...I'm going to try it!

You cannot adjust the starting point by rotating the entire sprinkler case after it has been screwed into the water source fitting. The sprinkler assembly must be removed and repositioned after the sprinkler body has been installed in place. Once you have cycled the sprinkler head clockwise to the full right position and then counterclockwise to the full left starting position you must remove the sprinkler assembly from the case. Lift it up from the position retainer slots in the base of the case, and rotate it to the position you want it to begin, then reinsert it in the case. When you screw the assembly back together the sprinkler head may change position, but once it’s tight, you should be able to rotate the head counterclockwise back to its proper starting point.

if you rotate the entire case to fix were the left edge starts wont the bottom part start leaking because it’s more loosened where it connects to the main sprinkler line?

How do you adjust the left side starting point? If I turn it, it unscrews it off the pipe attachment.

I need the "for dummies" version....🤪 cuz this ain't helping much

There's three slots where screwdrivers can be inserted. None are labeled. How does a novice know which one to use for what?

So if you turn the whole rotor case to set the left edge, won’t that loosen the sprinkler and cause leaks?

You can’t twist the sprinkler body once it is installed in the ground. You must remove the sprinkler assembly and rotate it to the proper start position and then reinsert it in the sprinkler body. The unit works well, but Rain Bird’s instructions are wrong. (Which is pretty poor marketing on their part.)

This is a crappy video. I will write Rainbird with a complaint

This video is a waste of time. Either he’s leaving out a step or Rain Bird is just a crappy product.

The last instructions are very confusing. Rain Bird evidently is too stingy to detail adjustments with the sprinkler on!

I purchased a 32SA Rotor On Hose-End Spike. This video along with all of the written instructions fails to show or explain how to rotate the entire rotor case to get the overall alignment of the spray pattern. The video references this about 28 seconds into the video, but does not mention that you must unscrew the large collar that holds the rotor case into the lower housing and pull the rotor case up a certain distance before it will rotate. Looking at the device, it was not obvious, but after playing with it for a while I finally got it. Why is this not in the video or instructions? Really, it would not have taken much to include it! I had to give the video a thumbs-down due to this omission.
