Thanks for the cooking inspiration. We eat quail twice a week so always looking for some new way to try. Our fav is deep fried with salt and pepper.
3 quail cut in half
Egg wash
1 cup flour
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sechuan pepper
1 tbsp five spice
Dip quail in egg wash and roll in flour/spice mix then deep fry 4 -6 mins. Quick and easy but good.
