I evacuated Tampa on Sunday and am in Georgia in a nice hotel now. I offered friends and neighbors to come with me and none of them would. They wanted me to wait for them to think about it. I knew gas was low from Helene and anticipated bad traffic so I left them behind.

Biden sent letters to GOP leaders requesting that they return to approve FEMA funding assistance & Mike Johnson refused saying they will be back after the election & said the approval will comecin due time. So much for the Republican party caring about the people who they are to serve & protect. I am disappointed that Washington did not talk about that prior to the election.
