Hours after Hurricane Milton made landfall as a Category 3 storm, residents in Florida are now assessing the damage just weeks after Hurricane Helene struck many of the same areas. NBC News' Tom Llamas and Dylan Dreyer report from Florida and Al Roker gives the latest on the storm's path.

Concrete! Watch the videos and see the difference between damages of concrete buildings and wooden structures! Cables should be underneath the earth. Isn't it time the US starts building tornado & hurricane proof?

I got stuck in Georgia from a weekend trip I stay 13 min from the buccs stadium . I can’t even imagine me being home alone stuck in a cat 4 hurricane! Wow I pray all is safe
