Can't blame the traffic warden because in the UK the adoption of EVs is so slow and patchy that most people don't even know what an EV looks like. Blame the government.

It is an electric charging point. Parking is only permitted for vehicles WHILE CHARGING. The parking space is then rented through the charging fees.

Drive off before he applies the ticket. If a genuine traffic warden tries to ticket you, and try to record with dash cam or phone the interaction.
