RN with 35 years of experience here. Every new option for care helps. However, I am an advocate for hands on exams and evaluations by skilled nurses and doctors. Many patients today are getting episodic care with specialist A, specialist b....and who gets to see whole patient. For example: recently getting many patients with undiagnosed irregular heart rhythms due to 12 lead EKG not being done with a primary care visit. Many nurses will be retiring soon (me too luck to us all.
