The fact that Gimp is in 32bit processing is great….looking forward to hopefully the near future when it will also have linear processing as it would be a game changer for many astrophotographers who now starting to use Gimp as alternative for their images….additional astronomy tools would also be so welcome….please consider all you Gimp developers😊❤️….also, I would like to recommend the combination of Siril and Gimp for those astrophotographers who would prefer to go the free software rout for their in pre and post processing.

Been a Smart phone tog for years just upgrading to a cannon and this is all new to me though Ive been on the other end of the camera for decades aswell so this was a nice explination of a software that does some good stuff always known about photoshop this looks just as good alternative

Great channel! I was wondering if you could point me to one of your videos that addresses photo's that have some areas that are blown out. I have a photo that has some areas in the background that are blown out and I have tried adjusting the highlights, & white balance and haven't had any luck making the picture look any better. Love love how you teach. So, I've worked through most of your GIMP Udemy Masterclass (not finished yet). And I've searched your YouTube sessions for an answer to a specific question. I am going to create an 8.5 x 5.5 mailer that will have the main design/text on one side and the reverse needs to allow for the mailing address/postage. Do you have any lessons on this? I see that you have lessons on bi-folds and tri-folds. What about material that you also need to mail without envelopes but have the mailing and return address on the reverse side? Please provide any links on your material that could help show me how to do this. Thanks!
