Doesn’t seem too bad. I have avoided Floyd Rose guitars my whole life. Maybe it’s time I finally add one to my collection. Good video

Thank you! I picked up my guitar again after almost a decade and was like this needs new strings. I then realized you can't just slap strings on and go. This video was extremely helpful.

I LOVE THEM! I float all of mine. Think of the Floyd Rose like a draw bridge. The strings hold the trem up...like a draw bridge. Each string holds roughly 1/6 of the tension. This is why if one string breaks, it's all out of tune.

New guitarist and I picked up a Kramer Pacer Series Orange Tiger (Satchel model) with the F.R. tremelo. I changed the strings as I broke the B playing around with tuning and opted for D'Addario XT LT Top / Heavy Bottom and once tuned the bridge was all the way up in the back (heavier strings). Just what I was looking for to adjust the spring tension and tune to keep the bridge level. Thank you! Subscribed.

Hey man your the best. I just bought my first guitar with a Floyd rose bridge and I couldn’t figure out why my guitar wouldn’t stay in tune. Thanks to your video I was able to set the bridge right after a couple minutes. You just saved me from taking it down to a music store and looking dumb in front of them. Thank you so much I’ll definitely start watching your channe

That battery trick, oh man the video is
priceless for that tip alone... I've taped together 4 or 5 coins to wedge in there and all manner of unsuitable objects. Ok, I used an old AA but it's absolutely perfect for my Jackson without anything required and it slid in there and stayed there likea thanks a million, genuinely :)

Thanks for the info. I've got my old Ibanez from the attic where it's laid for 30 years! I've cleaned it up, put new Ernie Ball 9's on it and although it plays well the bridge is so high the trem bar hits the pickup selector arm! Now I know how to get it back in line. Thanks for that.😊

If anybody has a wobbly whammy that swings around fast i found that cotton from a q-tip stuffed in the hole works perfectly.

Thank you so much. I haven't played guitar in a long time. I changed to a heavier low-end gauge strings and could never get them in tune and the bridge would always be riding high. I watched a few videos and followed the to a T, but still couldn't get it done right. I had completely forgotten about the tension springs (and the vides never mentioned them). It still rides a smidge high, but I'm not nit picky. The strings are staying put and I'm happy now.
