Doom has made it a habit of embarrassing other superheroes on a consistent basis, so we thought we'd do a comic breakdown on some of the most infamous moments in the history of the leader of Latveria. Dr. Doom is one of Marvel's most dangerous villains, because of how he asserts his authority. When you enter Latveria, show Doom your respect and alligence. For Doom's word is law.

Doom embarrassed Reed Richards, Bruce Banner, Michael Morbius, Walter Langkowski, and Otto Octavius. Sue had become pregnant while in the Negative Zone. However, near birth the baby began emitting burst of deadly radiation. Reed brought in all the smartest, but even together they could not save the child. Stillborn. Due to some circumstance with Franklin Richards, Valeria reverted to an unborn state and Sue was pregnant again. Only she began to experience the same issues as last time. With Reed captured by the Hidden Ones, the Human Torch went to Dr Doom and asked for his help. Doom, using a combination of science and magic, saved the baby. All he asked in return was that the child be named Valeria, after his childhood love. There is more to the story, but still impressive.

Doom literally took on the full blast from the infinity stones just to get right back up and say " I won't be denied those stones" .... hes a different breed definitely

Doom also went up against Superman back in '81 when he teamed up with Spider-Man. And yep. Doom knew all about kryptonite. He even figured out that the chunk he grabbed from Krypton's floating remains "was once part of a farm implement....a plowshare, if you will, forged into a sword." Ah, Doom always waxing poetic!

The fight between Doom and the combined Avengers and Fantastic Four in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes deserves a spot on the list, I think. It is the single best depiction of Doctor Doom ever made for the screen

I don't remember what storyline it was, but the Avengers show up at Doom's castle all like, "we're here to stop you!" and he's just in his living room, like, "what are you people doing in my house?" I love Doom.

Dr. Doom is my absolute favorite Marvel Super-Villain, IMVHO, Comics’ Best supervillain overall. He works as villain/anti-hero and very rarely disappoints when he’s involved in a story. Doc is just cool.
