I wish, Chris. We imported them from Lang in Nahunta, Georgia. They've been making em for well over 25 years. These aren't propane tank conversions. Rolled quarter inch steel. They are beasts. We haven't even unleashed the Lang 108 yet. They call it, The Intimidator

Awesome video.  One quick tip though, the brisket is actually two cuts of meat together, so it pays to be mindful of this when you cut it.  You want to cut it against the grain, otherwise the brisket can come out stringy, even when perfectly cooked.  Best to break apart the two different cuts (you can see at 3:40 the demarcation), and slice each separately.  Also, everyone has their favorite wood (and some are better than others), but it usually corresponds to what's abundant around, which is about as it should be.

hi dj bbq  got your book, cooked the brisket, its awesome  . Going to cook your pulled beef with granpas sauce tomorrow  in  my home made clay wood fired oven . i love this style of cooking  it just blows away any fast cooked meat .  my bbq's are in a different league then a year ago thanks to you bro. ps i live in England  and bbq all year round now and  loving it
