The thing is, I think most women don't send 'mixed signals' on purpose. I'm usually straight-up with reasons, but sometimes I doubt myself or change my mind. Sometimes I didn't realize you thought I was flirting, as I'm quite bubbly in public. It's very situational.

The mixed signals is a big one, never take a drunk girl who appears super affectionate as someone who actually appreciates you and wants to be affectionate, she is just drunk and has no feelings.

Mixed signals aren't intentional. I can have the time of my life with you one day and then just prefer to be alone another day. I'm definitely a huge introvert though, so most of the time, I'm just occupied with things in my head and I tend to ignore people without meaning to. Just because I agreed to play Terraria with you yesterday doesn't mean I'm likely to be in the right mood for that again anytime soon xP.

As a female, I've actually made the first move on multiple occasions and on said occasions, the guy gets really freaked out and then I'coming on too strong and I'm intimidating. Yea, girls can make the first move. We know that, but we don't know if the guy is the type to feel like he's emasculated when we do so.

I've done what you've classified as "mixed signals" before. It was because of guys clearly wanting to be more than friends and not understanding that I just want to be friends (even after I told them that). Things get awkward and they still seem to hope it's gonna happen so I end up distancing myself from them so they can finally take a hint. I feel kinda bad sometimes, but I don't want to deal with that kind of stuff

My take on the mixed signals: If I'm good friends with a guy, but I realize that the way I'm acting might be mistaken as flirting, I lay off for a little while. Unless the friendship has been confirmed to be purely platonic by both, I just think it's a more sensitive way to not mess with a guy's feelings. But maybe I'm wrong.

I'll answer the first one for you guys: Don't take it personally. If a girl speaks to you one day and gets quiet the next time you see, that might mean she's having a bad day. If she is, then tell yourself that it's not something you did wrong. If she's having a bad day, she will tell you as soon as you get quiet.

Number one messed me up. The one day she poured out her heart to me on issues which made her stress... but the next day she acted like all was fine and everything is back to normal and that I was not necessary.

Or sometimes I'll wait for her after class, only to see her walk by me. Yet the times I don't wait, I'll get a message from her asking why I disappeared.

Hell this messed me up. Because of this for a year long I didn't know how to act around girls anymore.
