This is a Tutorial to Scan your own custom face, aiming to create a realistic face of yourself to the Unreal Engine #Metahuman format.
Hopefully you would be able to use your own metahuman with you own face after this tutorial. The metahuman plugin still have space to improve, but it is really really IMPRESSIVE!

Thank you for this. This has been fun to play with. I think we need more hair choices--or at least the ability to modify hair length, and curly-ness. Also, it would be huge to change the hair line--the only hair similar to my own hair has a huge widows peak, which immediately detracts from the likeness. Things like that. Thanks for the vid man!

Whenever I drag in my texture, it gives me an error. Why is this?

Edit: Apparently, it doesn't like heic files. Just make it a jpg or whatever's acceptable.

This is super helpful thanks so much. I'm having an issue with Unreal Engine 5.1 where when I drag in the OBJ file it doesn't add the texture - any help appreciated :-)

i cant upload mesh to metahuman errors, i have tried uploading 20 times and i searched it up a lot of people have the same issue but no fixes

Hello, I’ve seen many tutorials like your teaching how to go from mesh to metahuman, but actually what i want to do is the opposite, use the metahuman animation in a static mesh, like a roman statue for example, any tip?

Can u use meta human to edit your 3d print then convert over to 3d printing software to make physical 3d prints?

Thx for the tutorial ! I tried to use trnio but i cannot finish the scann process. I always get an error i don’t know why. Mi pics are in goog quality, but not on a green screen is that the reason?

As Hogwarts Legacy will use Unreal Engine, will i be able to export it on Hogwarts Legacy? It's my dream to play the game as myself
